Grrrrr!  What the heck should I do now?  I like the suggestion to be a politician…look out Barack Obama…hehe.   Hmmmm.  Actor is on there too and ya’ll know I love me some cameras.  But as much as I want the experience of dominating the movie scene I wish to make a profound impact on the world…somehow.  I have lots of soul searching ahead.  Please chime in with any thoughts.  I am so not sure right now.(…to be continued) What personality type are you?   Here is some information about the ENFP personality type here.  To find out more about your career personality click here.   Or simply do a search for career personality test.  Or read this very insightful blog here. I kept wondering why I became so depressed and dramatically unhappy in office/desk type job situations, why I was able to generate so many ideas and be so creative, but have trouble carrying them to completion. I figured out that these were not things which were "wrong" with me per se, only that I needed to play more on the many amazing strengths of and ENFP, and stop putting myself in situations where my stregths would be blocked or not put to use. It seems obvious, but I never understood it in the detailed and organized way that myers-briggs lays it out. Of course it helped me in all my relationships, and activities in other areas of life as well. I'm so grateful I discovered it! I'm in the same boat. I've had an IT job with the military for 4 years now. Over the past two I have dreamed day and night of a more creative lifestyle. Just recently I discovered that I'm an ENFP. Now I realize that this is not the career for me and I'll probably never be happy with this job. I do find it quite funny that we're all into letting someone tell us about ourselves like they know us. It seems to kind of go against the "ENFP" description, but everything I've researched seems to be spot on, even the negative characteristics. I can't follow through to save my life... I was stuck (and to a degree still am) in an Engineering job but it was only to serve the purpose of wealth or the opportunity to say "I'm an Engineer" (what absolute BS!!!) My purpose now is to follow a journey of authenticity, service, exploration, and heart. ENFPs are champions of change but unfortunately there is only 3% of the world made up of us. TAKE ON THE CHALLENGE and help, change and grow within the challenge! Journey... NOT destination!
